믿을 만한 요양보호사 A는 아무도 맡으려 하지 않는 환자를 맡는다. 돈은 많지만 가족에게 버림받은 B는 A를 필요로 한다. 누군가에게 꼭 필요한 사람이 되고 싶었던 A는 죽어 가는 여자의 재산을 쥐기 위해 자격과 양심, 끝내 자기 자신까지 잃어 간다.

A는 일을 잘하는 요양보호사다.

버스 안에서도 간호사 시험 공부를 놓지 않지만, 형편은 늘 빠듯하고 누구도 그녀를 알아주지 않는다.
