조경가가 이름을 알릴 절호의 일을 맡는다. 공사 중 일꾼들이 땅속에 묻힌 상자를 찾아내고, 그녀는 그 안의 물건을 숨기기로 한다. 비밀을 지키려는 거짓말은 돈으로는 감당할 수 없는 곳까지 그녀를 끌고 내려간다.
